WeAreDevelopers: How does XING E-Recruiting define and measure success?
XING: On the one hand XING E-Recruiting defines success about giving life to its vision „For a better working life” and its mission “Enable companies to hire the best”: successful clients make our vision prosperous. These two statements indicate our desire to promote New Work and New Recruiting, give innovative support to HR with our Recruiting and Employer Branding products and to ensure high quality solutions for companies in the DACH region. On the other hand, with XING E-Recruiting Vienna being our major New Business location and sales competence center, we define success as a measurable as well as scalable factor, which every single team member strives for:  Number of new clients and revenue are our major kpis. Turnover growth in 2017 give proof of that.

WeAreDevelopers: How has the recruiting business changed over the past years?
XING: Recruiting has changed significantly in previous years. Following a „post and pray“ approach before, where recruiters publish their job ads and wait for applications, the next step was to approach the right candidates directly through active sourcing and positioning your company as an attractive employer. Now it moves to multi-channel, data driven and smart recruiting. Not only does XING E- Recruiting follow this mindset internally, it also provides the equivalent HR business solutions to “enable companies to hire the best”. The XING business network with its more than 13 million users in the DACH region provides a broad pool of candidates for companies to choose from. It is essential for recruiters nowadays to take a more active role when it comes to hiring the best people for their business.

WeAreDevelopers: Where would XING E-Recruiting like to be in five years?
XING: Luckily, even now XING E-Recruiting finds itself in the leading position when it comes to state of the art Recruiting and Employer Branding solutions in the DACH region. In five years, our vision is to have set new recruiting standards and continue to inspire and excite companies for new HR solutions.
